Join us for MEDC’s Women in Economic and Community Development: Spring Seminar to be held at HORNE in Ridgeland, MS.
We create economic opportunities for our communities, but are they truly available to all citizens? We invite you to come learn more about the barriers and challenges of today that are limiting who can enter and excel in the workforce. We will look at ways that we can improve employment opportunities, so talent of all backgrounds can reach their full potential.
The Women in Economic and Community Development committee invite all MEDC members, both male and female, to join us for our Spring Seminar that will be held May 10th in Ridgeland, MS. This conversation impacts each and everyone of us and the communities we serve. We not only ask you to come be a part of this discussion, but we encourage you to invite those in your community that would benefit from learning more about how leaders across the state are addressing these challenges.

Addressing poverty, labor force participation rates, recidivism, daycare shortages can seem overwhelming, but there are solutions that can be implemented in any size community. Leveraging her nearly 20 years of experience in a myriad of sectors, Nancy will share ideas and best practices in workforce development that through collaboration can create meaningful success. With the ever-shifting trends in the global economy, Nancy will review what we are learning each day and what we can do differently to support our current and prospective employers.
